Send a Card :: For Chaplain's Use

In Loving Tribute Fund :: This program will give Units, Districts, and individual members, their families, and friends an opportunity to contribute to our organization on occasions when they wish to share their thinking of you feelings either in joy or sorrow.  Handsome cards have been printed which will be sent to the person you designate. The amount of your gift is confidential and your individual gift is tax deductible.  A card will be sent to the person you indicate and a receipt will be sent to you promptly by the Department Office :: Form :: Fillable Form

Death Notice :: When a Unit loses a member through death, the Unit Chaplain sends a notice to the District Chaplain and then forwarded by her to the Department Chaplain.  The notice assists the Chaplains in preparations for the various memorial services held at all levels :: Form for Unit Chaplain's Use Only

From the Chaplain As Chaplain of Unit 472, I am asking all of the members to please complete the following survey. The purpose of this survey is to not only update the information we have on file, but to also gain some information that will help certain programs that our Unit Chairmen are trying to implement. Prayer Request from Sandra Rice :: I understand that life in Iraq is very difficult to bear right now. Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance and safety. We have a long list of good friends whose husbands are deploying to Iraq next month. One of the wives sent me this. We feel compelled to send it on. Your prayers are deeply appreciated. These guys deserve our love, our hugs and most powerfully, our prayers.

Chaplain's Corner
I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning . . . to the end.

He noted that first came the date for her birth
and spoke of the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all of the time
that she spent alive on earth
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.
