There are two types of resolutions used by the American Legion Auxiliary :: Courtesy and Business

• Courtesy resolutions are used to thank those who contribute to a meeting or function
• Business resolutions are made up of two parts :: the preamble, which states the issue; and the resolve, which presents the solution
